Top House

Residence Three’s design concept is based on the client’s vision to create a building that optimized their unique site for its panoramic views and solar exposure, creating a building form that literally captures those elements. The home is built on the top of a mountain overlooking the sea. Housed in a traditional peaked roof form, the interior living spaces flow through the building, which on one side is open to the panoramic views and solar exposure, and on the other is balanced with a harmonious palate of natural wood and stone. Accentuating the lofty vaulted ceiling in the living room are three exposed scissor trusses.
